| BUCK (6) Definition: (usually - pass the buck) (informal) Used in some expressions to shift blame or responsibility onto someone else. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the 'passer'. 2. 'Shifter' will avoid a loss or escape a disadvantage. 3. An excuse, explanation, rationalization, etc. accompanies act. 4. Who gets a 'can' cannot refuse or return burden to the sender. 5. Regret(s) will be had later, even if 'liar' doesn't apologise. 6. Who gets blamed or held liable cannot 'pass' it on. 7.
