| BROWSE (1) Definitions: i. A look at a lot of things in a shop/store rather than a look at a particular thing. ii. [ ~ through (to something) ] A look through the pages of a book, newspaper, etc. without reading everything. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who browses. 2. Nothing was initially intended to be looked at or read through with extra attention (to emphasize). 3. A very wide range of items are looked at. Or most of the pages in book, newspaper, etc. are flipped through. 4. No second glance will be taken on an item/product in shop/store or on an article/write-up in book/newspaper. 5. Nothing remarkable will be missed! That is, important or latest items will be seen, a headline or breaking news will be read. 6. Nothing will be lost by not checking or reading through all of the items or articles in greater detail and with more rapt attention. 7. Time saved by quick glance will be productively used, on leaving the shop/store or dropping a book, newspaper, etc. 8.
