| BROADCASTING Definition: The business of making and sending out radio and television programmes. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for broadcasters. 2. Legally registered to carry on particular business. 3. Source(s) of the items that are transmitted is/are verifiable. 4. All news items or adverts are prepared for broadcast and follow the right process(es), observes the appropriate procedure(s), etc. before they are transmitted. 5. Quality of programmes are excellent or of the highest grade. 6. Transmission is done timely and fully, to help achieve goal(s). 7. Conducted responsibly. That is, sensibilities are not offended by what is heard and/or seen. In other words, viewers won't be disgusted, sponsors or advertisers won't be disappointed, employees emotions won't be discountenanced, etc. 8. Entrepreneurs and entities involved in industry will fulfil all legal obligations and perform some corporate social responsibility. 9. Business serves purpose(s), for all the parties involved, without an unplanned loss being suffered while making production and sending transmission.
