| BRITTLENESS (2) Definition: A situation of appearing to be in a happy mood or strong state of mind when a person is actually in a nervous and easily damaged one. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Person will not give a hint or clue concerning anxiety and susceptibility to a breakdown, though he or she is simmering underneath. And won't confide in anyone. (What?) 6. Person will be looking for a way out of quagmire. That is, nervy individual will seize the earliest opportunity to escape from the discomfiture. (Enough!) 7. Seemingly happy or boisterous person will collapse or surrender at the first hurdle that will test his or her strength of character, or rather a lack of this. (Sorry.) 8. Lasts for a duration considered tolerable or bearable. That is, nothing untoward or illegal will be done by person, while quietly anxious or 'gently hurting'. (...
