| ARRAIGNING Definition: (law) The action of the verb arraign (calling an accused person before a criminal court to hear and answer the charge made against him or her). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purpose and necessity is firmly established. 2. Action is for the first time and a 'fresh' offence. 3. Accused is told beforehand of event to happen. 4.
