| FLASHING (2) Definition: (of Nigerian origin) An act of deliberately trying to make a call, which will be intentionally discontinued, by the caller, just before the connection is made. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to try to establish contact or communicate. 2. Basis or justification deemed available for 'economizing' resources. 3. Patience for a return call present - make no other call immediately. 4. Who is 'flashed' is presumed to be in better financial circumstance. 5. Ringing would be heard, but only once, before some cut-off is made. 6. Serious misunderstanding won't arise later as a result of 'silence'. 7.
