| CRIME OF PASSION Definitions: i. In popular usage, a crime of passion refers to a violent crime, especially homicide, in which the perpetrator commits the act against someone because of sudden strong impulse such as sudden rage. ii. A crime committed while in the throes of passion, with no opportunity to reflect on what is happening and what the person is about to do. iii. A crime committed because of very strong emotional feelings. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1.
