| BREATHING SPACE Definition: A short rest in the middle of a period of mental or physical effort. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity, to help achieve the overall goal(s) or end result(s) of effort. 2. Period is planned or programmed - not an emergency demand on time. 3. Shortness will be considered as adequate - enough to have what will be deemed as a proper rest. 4. Mind or anticipation, thought or expectation, will not be on or in the subject matter that a rest is being taken from. And the brain and muscles will be truly free and relaxed. (To emphasize.) 5. What is engaged in during period will be relevant and beneficial. 6. What is returned to, after rest will, not become 'strange'. That is, events or activities during period will not turn out to be a distraction, afterwards, on the effort. 7.
