Definition: The quality of being verisimilar (having the appearance of truth; truth-like; likely; probable).

1. Purposeful and necessary, especially if deliberately created.

2. Falsity or falsehood very well disguised and/or covered up.

3. Chance or room for scrutiny or examination not available.

4. Proudly, though pretentiously displayed, announced, associated with, applied, promoted, etc. And, but, not considered a half-truth !! It other words, it will be seemingly 'convincing', even as it is in reality or actually 'con-win-sin'.

5. The seeming truth - apparent 'fact' - held very consistently.

6. Denial of the situation or thing being false is persistent.

7. Appearance serves purpose(s), for as long as lie remains.
