| HUMBLEBRAG Definitions: i. (informal) An ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement whose actual purpose is to draw attention to something of which one is proud. ii. A statement intended as a boast or brag but disguised by a humble apology, complaint, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who makes statement. 2. Directed solely at, or to, who hears the utterances. 3. Unaccompanied by a doing or some physical action. 4. Humility cannot be half-hearted and/or pretentious. 5. Duration of utterance will be brief, not time-wasting. 6.
