Reasonable doubt
REASONABLE DOUBT

Definition: (law) A degree of doubt just short of a confession or an admission of guilt by the accused person facing a trial or inquiry or investigation.

5. Conscience burdensome about whether justice is served... strange.

6. Ends in favour of accused, via a mistrial or an acquittal... misgivings.
