| SOCIAL CONTRACT (2) Definition: The voluntary agreement between individuals upon which an organized society, its rights, functions, and the relationships within it are founded. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Believed purposeful and necessary by whoever drafts same. 2. Written anonymously or by a group but never formally adopted. That is, has nothing to do with the law or government. 3. Cannot be given legal or official backing (connect to #2). 4. Always in the front burner in the consideration of those in society who are sane and can be deemed to be progressive. 5. Fixed or permanent - not subject to a review or amendment. 6. Somewhat recognizes the existence of the physically challenged, the dregs of society, the uneducated/uninformed, etc. 7. Has no lifespan or expiry date as long as individuals live. 8. Believed to be implementable.
