Definitions:

i. (verb) (North American English) (informal) Walk in an ostentatious yet casual manner, typically with exaggerated movements of the hips and shoulders.

ii. Perform the sashay (in American square dancing) A figure in which partners circle each other by taking sideways steps.

iii. To glide, move, or proceed easily or nonchalantly.

iv. To chasee in dancing.

v. To walk or proceed, especially in an easy or casual manner.

vi. To strut or flounce in a showy manner.

vii. To walk with a lofty proud gait, often in an attempt to impress others.
