| FORTRESS MENTALITY Definition: (informal) Someone having a fortress mentality believes that every other person is desirous of harming or hurting him or her. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who is eternally afraid. 2. Some factual identifiable basis will be present therein. 3. Position or post being occupied deemed vital and in demand. 4. Trusts or relies on a limited or fewest number of men and machines. 5. Lives literally behind the 'fortress' (read: some very high walls). 6.
