RATEL

Definition: A member of Mellivora, family Mustelidae, a genus of burrowing carnivores, especially Mellivora capensis of South Africa and Mellivora indica of India. Ratels are about 3 ft long, including an 8-9 inches tail, and have thick coarse fur, gray on top and black underneath. They destroy wild bees' nests for their honey.
