| BOONDOOGLE Definitions: i. (North American English, informal) A piece of work that is unnecessary and that wastes time and/or money. ii. An official organization or activity that is thought to waste a lot of time and money and does not achieve much. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Cannot be proscribed or stopped, decommissioned or avoided, etc. 2. Other endeavours or aims would be unattended to as a result of the existence of, or involvement in, organization or activity. 3. Moments that would be wasted would be prime times and the money that would be underutilized would be hard-earned, that should have been expected to give premier benefit or advantage. 4. Impossible to influence or contribute to organization or activity such that it will become beneficial and produce useful results. 5. Loss, disadvantage, inconvenience, embarrassment, regret, etc. would be the outcome of expenses made on organization or activity. 6. Not a work, an organization or activity funded by the taxpayers !!
