______________________________________________________________________

* All six elements should be in.

1. Believed purposeful and necessary, by the user of selected words.

2. Start of act will be indicated by saying the word 'quote' (with or without 'I' ...) or by writing the first of the punctuation mark " (being a beginning of the quotation marks), as applicable.

3. Utterance/writing will be exactly as previously said/written. That is, who is repeating another won't insert a bracketed sic to indicate an error or mistake made by original utterer or writer.

4. Complete, i.e., no use of ellipsis by who quotes; nothing left out.

5. Will be concluded with 'unquote' or 'end of quote' (if speaking) or the second and last mark (..."), (if writing). That is, a full stop, or a comma, will not be mentioned or seen, just before 'end'.

6. Serves purpose(s) and/or achieves objective(s), but only if what is repeated is heard or read, especially if well uttered or written, and therefore, clearly understandable or understood.
