Devotion originally deemed purposeful and necessary. 2. Cause not truly worthy or deserving (to emphasize). 3. Subject or object of worship is powerless, even as this won't be known by the devotee or worshiper. That is, no positive influence will be effectively exerted on devotee therein, thereabouts and/or thereafter. 4. Awareness of the loss therein not immediately known. 5. Time or duration spent or wasted will be substantial. 6. Benefit (protection) or guidance (direction) won't be provided by adherence to tenets of 'religion'.
