PETER PRINCIPLE

Definition: Tenet that employees advance to the level of their incompetence; satirically conceived by Lawrence Peter, Canadian educator.

f. Level 3. Privileges, if any, are withdrawn in changed circumstance.

g. Step 4. Opportunity to acquire more knowledge, training, etc. exists.

h. Level 4. Employer benefits therefrom; application serves purpose(s).
