Honours of war
HONOURS OF WAR

Definition: The privileges granted to a capitulating force of marching out with their arms, flags, etc.

1. Deemed purposeful and necessary by the conquering force.

2. Guard mounted will be after arms have been dis-enabled.

3. Musical tunes played, if applicable, will be sombre.

4. Marching style and/or steps won't be seen as triumphalist.

5. No booing the vanquished during the momentous occasion.

6. Grant of privilege achieves objective(s), but only if the defeated force does not return to fight against victor (to emphasize, connect to #2, #3 & #4).
