| HOLIER-THAN-THOU (2) Definition: One who has an offensively sanctimonious and patronising attitude. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements would be in. 1. Seeks prominence, with a sense of occasion, at all times or takes preemptive action to prevent being overshadowed. 2. Gets into a group activity earliest, thereafter pontificates or arrives last and gives an excuse that is not tenable. 3. Will not forgive others who would have offended him/her or will reluctantly forgive, if offended, only conditionally. 4. Wouldn't forget a wrong done against his/her interests or will be constantly reminding wrongdoer(s) of misdemeanour(s). 5. Quick to criticize and quicker in attempting to justify a mistake, if any, that he/she makes or protest against criticism of action. 6. Has answers to all questions, even if the questions are not fully understood or won't ever admit that the other individual is right. 7. Prefers to be in charge and giving orders or chooses to decline being a subordinate and refusing to obey a command. 8. Regales person at the receiving end of 'greatness' or demands a repetition of an earlier achievement by the other. 9. Sees self as almost infallible or thinks, almost cocksure, that nothing good can come from you (thou) ! 10. Expecting, even demanding to be applauded and endorsed or disapproving and condemning thou's efforts. 11. Never seeks advice from 'elders and betters' or won't accept friendship from someone thought of low class. ______ 11/11...not about religion. Yet no basis...educated or not. But who is judge?
