| BOHEMIAN Definitions: i. A person, often somebody who is involved with the arts, who lives in a very informal way without following accepted rules of behaviour. ii. A person who is artistic and lives in an unconventional way. iii. A person, specially with literary or artistic interests, who lives in an easygoing way untroubled by middle-class social standards. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Lives within his or her means, while shunning materialism. And source(s) of income will be legal and honest. (Not a spendthrift.) 2. The person's lifestyle or activities will be such that will be with minimal danger - not a daredevil or warmonger or risk-taker. (No heroics.) 3. Protects and secures the interests - works of art, etc. - and will safeguard or insure items, when affordable. (Not a good-for-nothing.) 4. Never cultivates an expensive taste, won't self-indulge. That is, he/she will not be jealous or envious. (No keeping with the Joneses.) 5. Never in competition with another; can be overshadowed or outbid, tolerate criticism, etc.; will have nothing to prove. (Not a demigod.) 6. Retains style or sustains unconventional way of life for as long as desired, even if a jackpot is won. (No self-delusion or self-pity.) 7. Lets things go.
