| BREXITEER Definition: (informal) A Briton who supported and voted for the exit of United Kingdom, from the European Union, in the referendum held in the UK, on the 23rd. day of June, in the year of our Lord, 2016. ________________________________________________________________________ * All five elements are in. 1. Believes that economic prospects or development opportunities are better and brighter outside the Union (read: dislikes immigrants and/or all those benefits paid them, on 'the dole queue', by the Treasury). _____________________ Be person English. 2. Believes that future generations will benefit from being not under the control of Brussels. That is, convinced that Britishness will be better enhanced outside the EU (read: shuns cooperation or partnership). _____________________ Be 'Leaver' Welsh. 3. Doesn't really care about the immediate backlash or possible domino effect, insists that in the long run being on her own will be better for the UK. That is, will vote "Leave" as many times as required (read: loves individualism and self-centredness). _____________________ Be he or she Irish. 4. Making polarizing comments, or taking divisive actions, or doing selfish deeds, etc., in the aftermath of the exit, even if activities are done inadvertently (read: thinks only 'togetherness' and/or re-unification). _______________________ Be person Scottish. 5. Seriously thinking, at present, of disinvesting from any, some or all other countries that are current members of the EU, or limiting investments therein (read: 'mocking' or 'condemning' their currency; the Euro). ____________________________ Be he or she from Gibraltar.
