| ODD ONE OUT Definition: A person who is different from other people in a particular situation. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Presence in situation is deemed purposeful and necessary. That is, this person cannot be expelled or sent out or away. In other words, he or she is not in situation by coincidence. 2. What distinguishes the person or sets him or her apart will be specific and identifiable, at first glace, whether the distinction is naturally or artificially created. 3. Won't need to make an effort to blend with the others - unfazed - as an attempt will not achieve the desired goal. 4. Brings no 'good' to the others in the situation. That is, oddness will not be desirable or encouraged by others. 5. Remains in odd state throughout the situation as circumstance will not be alterable by intervention from the law, or an emergency, or the forces of nature (to emphasize). 6. This oddball will not be able to convince or influence any other person to join himself or herself in odd condition (see definition). That is, will be an independent individual. 7. Can become normal, again, after situation comes to an end. That is, changed circumstances will be adapted to by who is deemed as odd. 8. Earns the group or collective, not himself or herself, some loss etc., as a result of being not in tandem with other people therein. ______________________ See perfect MYSELF.
