Purposeful and necessary to embark on the work. 2. Worker(s) applied for and/or was selected for task. 3. Protective gear was worn (where allowed or required). 4. Messy but not condemnable or derided by 'clean worker(s)'. 5. Substance responsible for dirt is not toxic or acidic. 6. Being dirty results in no unplanned loss whatsoever. 7. Work done has provisions for cleaning up immediately afterwards. 8. Contributes to a cleaner environment - taking away, not creating, rubbish, in the course of being dirtied. 9. The hands on being cleaned, or the clothes, on being washed, can be used or worn again, productively and effectively. 10. This filthy job gives job satisfaction !
