Definitions:

i. An attempt to trick somebody by making them believe that you will do something when you really have no intention of doing it, or that you know something when you do not, in fact, know it.

ii. An attempt to make someone believe that you will do something when you do not really intend to do it.

1. Purposeful and necessary, for who bluffs.

2. Deliberately planned to achieve specific goal(s).

3. Timing of act, action or activity will be convincing.

4. Act or action, arrangement or activity, speech or inaction, etc. will be full-on, giving no room for doubt or misgivings about a real intention or claim. That is, the attempt, at deception, will be taken seriously and achieve goal(s).

5. (Reserved.) (If asked, by a doubting Thomas, the real intention not to do thing will not be admitted, not immediately.)

6. Attempt will cause no unplanned loss for the happy deceiver.
