| BLUE-EYED BOY Definitions: i. (British English, informal, often disapproving) A person treated with special favour by somebody. ii. A young man who someone likes better than anyone else and who therefore receives better treatment than other people. iii. A favourite who can do no wrong, white-headed boy. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Man is not directly related to who shows preferential disposition. 2. The others have had a chance or an opportunity to prove worthiness. 3. Young man will be willing to know about his faults and weaknesses. 4. Shortcomings will be pointed out to young man quickly, and nicely, whenever these rear their ugly heads. 5. Will not be punished or sanctioned by who likes him. That is, any (mis)conduct or (mis)behaviour will be tolerated or condoned. 6. Fondness and preferential treatment will not be such that an advantage will be taken of young man by the 'mentor'. That is, relationship or association with youngster will not be immoral.
