Justiciability
JUSTICIABILITY

Definitions:

i. Justiciability refers to the types of matter that the federal courts can adjudicate. If a case is "nonjusticiable" a federal court cannot hear it.

ii. Justiciability concerns the limits upon which legal issues over which a court can exercise its judicial authority.
