| SOUR GRAPES Definitions: i. (saying) Used to show that you think somebody is jealous and is pretending that something is not important. ii. The disparagement of something out of chagrin at not being able to get it. iii. If you refer to someone's attitudes as sour grapes, you mean that they say something is worthless or undesirable because they want it themselves but cannot have it. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1.
