| VALEDICTORIAN Definitions: i. (North American English) The student who has the highest marks/grades in a particular group of students and who gives the valedictory speech at a graduation ceremony. ii. A student, usually one with the highest marks, who delivers a valedictory (a parting speech, a farewell oration, especially at graduation at high schools, universities, etc.). ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, in the institution's opinion. 2. Earned grading honestly. And not after re-marking !! 3. Doesn't discuss speech with others before its delivery. 4. Duration that the speech lasts will be reasonable !! 5. Delivery makes persons present proud of graduates. 6. The content of the speech will be wholly his/hers !! 7. Healthy enough, completes task, serves purpose(s). 8. Able to make a success of his life after graduation !! 9.
