| BLOC VOTING Definition: (US) Policy of voting on issues based on a system of group decision, often involving group allegiances rather than the merits of an issue. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and believed necessary for the bloc voter(s). 2. Group position is fixed or permanent in respect of the matter. 3. The system or a general situation will lose or decline as a result. 4. Time saved from absence of robust debate will be used productively. 5. Lack of independent-mindedness achieves goal(s), nay or yea vote. 6.
