| MYSTICISM (2) Definition: The experience of such direct apprehension of truth or union with God (the belief that knowledge of God and of real truth can be found through prayer and meditation rather than through reason and senses; the doctrine or belief that direct spiritual apprehension of truth or union with God may be obtained through contemplation or insight in ways inaccessible to the senses or reason). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1.
