| MOVEMENT (19) Definition: A tactical moving of troops as part of a military or naval maneuver. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, especially in a theatre of war. 2. Not experimental, i.e. troops had been taught or practiced move(s). 3. Must be led or commanded by a military leader. 4. Completed in good time to confer advantage. 5. Sustainable for as long as believed secure. 6. Not earlier known by, or revealed to, an enemy, if a war situation. 7.
