i. (from Greek "doctrine of one will") A particular teaching about how the divine and human relate in the person of Jesus, known as a Christological doctrine, that formally engaged in Armenia and Syria in 629.

ii. The theological doctrine that Christ had only one will even though he had two natures (human and divine); condemned as heretical in the Third Council of Constantinople.
