Medical tourism refers to traveling to another country for medical care. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and considered a necessity - to be 'alive' (see definition). 2. Referral must have been issued by a qualified medical professional. 3. Travel documents will be in proper order, not an illegal (im)migrant. 4. Patient-tourist arrives in good time, whichever the mode of travel. 5. The process or procedure, i.e., surgery, etc. is concluded timely. 6. Who is healed or cured won't stay back/work while in foreign land. 7. Costs is affordable. That is, no indebtedness will arise therefrom. 8. Returns home or to place of earlier departure healthy and soundly. 9. Won't leave the foreign land with new infection(s) (to emphasize). 10. Trip serves purpose(s), only if the lifespan is prolonged thence. 11. Trip or journey will be only once - won't be a drain on resources. 12.
