Zero tolerance
ZERO TOLERANCE

Definitions:

i. The policy of applying laws very strictly so that people are punished for offences that are not very serious.

ii. When you do not accept any bad behaviour, often by using laws to prevent it.

iii. If a government or organization has a policy of zero tolerance of a particular type of behaviour or activity, they will not tolerate it at all.

* All six elements should be in.


1. Purposeful and necessary.

2. Publicized widely as official policy.

3. Non-discriminatory. That is, treatment applies to all, without recourse to a so-called spirit of the law in respect of some privileged scofflaws.

4. Beneficial to the country, system or organization, etc. That is, serves purpose(s) as exactly hoped for, without an unplanned loss, a social upheaval, an industrial unrest, etc., etc.

5. Lasts for duration desired until reviewed to determine if its application is to be liberalized or the particular law or set of laws is/are to be abrogated.

6. Enforcer(s) does/do not break a law in the process of strictly enforcing same or some other law.
