Wrong-headedness
WRONG-HEADEDNESS

Definitions:

i. Acting in a determined way, even though the actions and ideas are based on wrong judgements.

ii. The state or condition of having or showing bad judgement.

1. Person will be convinced beyond any doubt about rightness of decision to take particular action. (See perfect SHORT-TERMISM.)

2. Who ill-judged a situation would, therefore, reject a correction, refuse to gamble, deny a reality, exhibit some pride, have a dare or court real danger, take unreasonable risk, etc. [See perfect STUBBORNNESS (1).]

3. Wrongness or inappropriateness, mistake or howler, etc. will be clear for a right-thinking person to see. (See perfect INDETERMINACY.)

4. Action will be beneficial, for the doer, in the immediate moments, even if this will be temporary. (See perfect CROWD-PLEASER.)

5. Determination (delusion?) and enthusiasm (bravado?) that will be shown, continues for a tolerable period. That is, wrong path can be retraced, before it becomes too late. In other words, 'stubbornness' will have a limit. (See perfect SECOND CHANCE.)

6. Person behaving badly will be assumed to be in a normal frame of mind at the time of 'brave' display. (See perfect AFTERTHOUGHT.)

7. Will end in a loss, disappointment, missed opportunities, etc. for the wrong-headed person, especially from the end result of action or from the reaction or response that will be shown or given by others. (See perfect OVER THE TOP.)

8. 'Great' start will end in a monumental disgrace, embarrassment, inconvenience, etc. for the others who will be directly connected to, or linked with, the actions and subsequent effects thereof, of the person who behaves as a past master (See perfect KNOW-IT-ALL.)
