| WORKAHOLIC Definition: (informal, usually disapproving) A person who works very hard and finds it difficult to stop working and do other things. ______________________________________________________________________ * All ten elements would be in. 1. Purposeful - the work and the hard-working attitude. 2. Person has specific target(s), not necessarily a time limit or deadline. __________________ 3. Possesses and deploys the wherewithal. That is, person makes progress towards achieving objective(s). 4. Engaged in hard work of own volition. That is, person is strictly not a slave or servant. __________________ 5. Person does not turn down help, assistance or support, where offered. That is, effort put into work is not excessive. In other words, performance and results obtained by the hard-worker is considered as cost-effective and commensurate. 6. Period used for other things is usually very short. And these other things do not include a proper rest or relaxation. And person does other things only when compulsory or threatened. __________________ 7. Person does not break down before or after finishing the work. And does not need any extraordinary drugs, etc. to stay healthy. 8. No law is broken by the hard-working person (to emphasize). __________________ 9. Person does not give up, whatever the circumstances. 10.
