Purposeful and necessary, if it must be used. 2. Has fixed meaning(s), no matter the number of interpretations possible or available. 3. Has a specific form in which it can be spelled. 4. Not compound or double-barrelled. (See definition, to emphasize.) 5. Can be translated into another or other languages. That is, single unit of language has an acceptable equivalent, synonym, etc. 6. Comfortable to use! That is, does not ordinarily cause hate, upset, anger, hurt, etc. and will not need to be apologized for on being used.
