| BLAH Definition: (informal) People say blah, blah, blah, when they do not want to give the exact words that somebody has said or written because they think they are not important or are boring. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, in the opinion of talker. 2. No rule, regulation or law would be broken by choice of 'words'. 3. Speaker has no speech defect - what is mentioned is clearly heard, and cannot be misinterpreted for something else. 4. Assumptions made will be justified in the end. That is, nothing will be lost by not saying what was believed unimportant or boring. 5. Used rightly. That is, the exact thing that was said or written was clearly heard or read. (Connect to #4.) 6. Blah will be mentioned thrice, or in multiples of three ! (To emphasize, see definition.) 7. No demand, which will not be granted, will be made by hearer or member of an audience to know the exact words substituted. 8.
