| WISHFUL THINKING Definition: The belief that something you want to happen is happening or will happen, although this is actually not true or very unlikely. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have 'dreams', which were not thought unrealistic in the beginning. 2. Your actions, activities, inaction, hope, expectation, comments, planning, investment, etc. portray belief. 3. No effort will be made to convince others that fiction is reality, as there will be a full awareness that others do not share in belief. 4. No discouragement, rebuff, evidence, etc., from or by others will be entertained or accepted during period of belief (= self-deception). 5. Loss or losses, disgrace, etc., will be the end result of belief, whether this is publicly admitted or not. 6. Lasts for duration considered appropriate, until the certainty about self-deception or tomfoolery is attained, and it is decided to use the (= your) thinking faculties more productively. 7.
