| WISH (3) Definition: An attempt to make something happen by thinking hard about it, especially in stories when it often happens by magic. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. No sign or clear likelihood, initially, that thing would happen. 3. Thinking time is considered appropriate. 4. Expected occurrence is specific and identifiable. 5. Thinking is not done 'aloud', so no one can be aware of desire (= thought or thoughts). 6. Thing will happen as exactly desired - in the right manner, at the right time, etc., etc. 7. No physical action, gesture, consultation, etc. is taken before the wish comes to be. 8. What is wished for and comes to be, exists for the period of time planned or hoped for. 9.
