Definition: (British English, informal) Something that somebody says or does in order to be deliberately annoying, especially as a joke.

1. Purposeful and considered necessary for prankster (to emphasize).

2. Interpretation or meaning of a talk or an action can only result in an annoyance.

3. Comment or act cannot be appropriately responded to such that annoyance is avoided or nullified or diffused.

4. Thing said or done is not an outright lie or an illegality that will pose a problem. That is, there is a basis for feeling angry. And no serious risk is faced by who the (a) joke is on. (To emphasize.)

5. Reaction or response, by the 'victim', where possible, from annoyance, is not deemed as excessive. (Connect to #6.)

6. Thing said or done will be declared, timely, as a joke, while or after serving its purpose(s).
