| WILDCAT STRIKE Definitions: i. A wildcat strike happens suddenly, as a result of a decision by a group of workers, and is not officially approved by a trade union. ii. Sudden unofficial strike. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for the select few. 2. A reason or basis - frustration, sabotage, etc. - exists for act. 3. Decision will be voted on before strike commences. 4. There will be no strike-breaker(s). That is, act will be effective. 5. Strikers will suffer no loss or sanction as a result. 6. Causes considerable loss for employer, organization, company, etc. 7. Lasts or sustained for a tolerable duration (connect to #6). 8.
