Definition: (idiomatic - be/go on the warpath) (informal) (To be) angry and wanting to fight or punish somebody.

1. Purposeful and necessary for person on path.

2. Offence or sin was truly committed (to emphasize, connect to #3).

3. Intended prey/target is, without a doubt, the 'guilty' party.

4. No readiness to listen to an explanation or accept an excuse, apology, pleading, etc.

5. No possibility of a response or attack or opposition, if target is encountered or caught up with - and fought or punished. That is, no unplanned loss will be suffered as a result of the outcome of desire to fight or punish.

6. Angry person is permanently on the lookout, pursuing, inviting, searching, etc. for the offender.

7. Emotion remains for appropriate duration, whether fight or punishment is eventually engaged in or meted out.
