| WARINESS Definitions: i. The state or condition of being careful when dealing with somebody/something because you think that there may be a danger or problem. ii. The state or quality of being wary (on one's guard; on the look out for danger, trickery, etc. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who is being careful. 2. There is a basis for suspicion of danger or problem - history or antecedent, information or warning, etc. 3. Relevant questioning, research, authorization, enquiries, etc. is conducted at every required stage or level, from start to finish. 4. There is an understanding or awareness of the likely types of differences (= dangers, problems, etc.) that may arise in or from a particular situation. 5. Person/thing will never cooperate to reduce or risk that could lead to the suspected danger or problem. 6. There is a readiness or preparedness to cope with a delay, postponement, avoidance, etc. that may arise from carefulness. That is, no unplanned loss will be suffered as a result of 'extra care'. 7. Serves purpose(s). That is, danger or problem is avoided or ameliorated as a result of the additional care taken.
