A laxity in enforcement or an absence of adequate banking, financial or professional supervision exists in the industry. 3. Qualified but 'unprofessional' accountants, auditors etc. are in bank's employ (connect to #1 below the line). 4. Efficient legal department in the bank-with the best solicitors/advocate etc. available or on bank's retainership. 5. Bankers are experts in making mouth-watering promises and in manufacturing excuses (as is always inevitable) when the promises are not fulfilled (connect to #1 and #3 below the line). 6. Customers are usually non-inquisitive, uninformed, 'illiterate' and/or greedy persons. 7. Bank employees, including management are usually, generally extravagant, flamboyant, thriftless and wasteful (probably inclusive of the bank's physical structure(s) too). 8. Top management staff have made arrangements to 'migrate', if and as soon as necessary. 9. Bank's activities are usually measurable and specific (connect to definition and #2 below the line). The 'trickery' develops slowly, gradually and surely, over a period of time and lasts for a substantial period of time. 2. Invariably declares mind-boggling profits..... until the bubble bursts ! 3.
