| VENOM (2) Definition: (formal) Strong bitter feeling; hatred and a desire to hurt somebody: spite (figurative). ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements should be in. 1. Basis exists. That is, cause(s) of hatred is/are known. 2. Target of hate and desire to hurt is directed at the right person. 3. Feelings cannot be ordinarily or easily assuaged. That is, an apology, restitution, etc. will not make feeling to go away. 4. The 'bile' is all over. That is, feeling is spread everywhere in the person's system - in the tongue/mouth, toes/legs, head/forehead, hand/fist, eyes/visage, etc., etc. 5. Remains until it 'strikes' successfully. And/or gradually leads to the 'destruction' of the person with bitter feeling.
