| VALUE JUDGEMENT Definition: (usually disapproving) A judgement about how good or important something is, based on personal opinions rather than facts. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful for the person concerned. 2. Facts are available and/or provided, but these are completely ignored (to emphasize). 3. Person knows or recognizes real worth, value, etc. of thing. That is, he or she is assumed sensible, independent-minded, etc. 4. Subjectivity, not objectivity, will reign in situation. 5. Outcome or conclusion will be generally very positive, even if not predetermined. That is, no bad or negative aspect of thing will be given a mention or some prominence. 6.
