| VACILLATION Definition: The act of continually changing your opinion or thought about something, especially in a way that annoys other people. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary in your considered opinion. 2. Previous opinions were assumed reached after careful deliberations. 3. Explanation, excuse, justification, etc. for the constant changes always seem valid or genuine, even if frequency is annoying. 4. No serious apologies are ever given for inconsistency. 5. Some loss, disadvantage, etc. will be suffered, especially by others, as a result of the incessant flip-flopping. 6. No sanction, punishment, etc. will be suffered as an outcome of recantations, U-turns, etc. 7.
